only a mother can love

as i sit outside enjoying the last bit of sunshine that today has to offer, I remember that I have to pay close attention to the two lounging dogs in the backyard. Why you ask...well they are, you guessed it- the cuss word "pit bull". it makes me laugh because while I am writing this my one dog is crying because of the cat next door. He's not trying to kill it, but rather is crying because he's scared of it. Yes, that's righ folks, he's scared of it. I am sorry once again to rant about my precious loves, but what can I say. They are only 2 dogs that a mother can love.

A beautiful day and what am I doing??... Painting inside. I finally got fed up with the paisley purple color that adorned our bathroom( it was there when we bought the house). The new color is Victorian garnet, a deep, deep maroon color. I love it! I am crazy about maroon, black and white..so it fits right into the rest of our bedroom.

It's raining right now and the lighting is amazing. the thunder is so loud it rumbles deep into the depths of my body. God is amazing, he orchestrates this swelling storm and yet He is the ultimate calm in the midst of life's storms.
